The Nucleus Link Roaster is a portable sample roaster designed for small-batch roasting with precision, consistency and control.

With a 50–100g batch capacity, Link allows you to roast and assess coffee wherever you are, whether you are profiling new samples, preparing for cupping, or exploring a coffee’s potential in more detail. Through the Link App and LINK Studio software, you can choose from a wide range of profiles, monitor your roast in real time, and customise your approach based on variety, process and density.

Compact, portable and built for professional use, Link is made for roasters, producers, competitors and coffee professionals who want a more accurate and honest expression of every coffee.

The Nucleus Link Roaster is shipped from a separate warehouse. Dispatch may take a little longer than our in-stock products. Available in Australia only.

How Link works

Link brings a more advanced approach to sample roasting by starting each roast at room temperature, with the internal bean temperature aligned to the ambient roast temperature from the beginning. This supports a more even roast, helps reduce sample CO₂ levels, and allows you to taste the coffee’s full potential sooner.

The roaster connects through the Link App, where you can select profiles, use density tube integration, adjust settings and monitor your roast as it develops. Fan speed calibration also allows Link to adapt to your location and external conditions, helping maintain consistency across different environments.

For travel and sample evaluation, Link comes with a water-resistant travel case, making it easy to roast and assess coffee wherever the work takes you.

FAQ's

Do I need roasting experience to use the Link Roaster?

No. Link is designed to support both new and experienced roasters. You can choose from a wide range of existing profiles through the Link App or LINK Studio, then customise your approach as you become more familiar with the roasting process.

What batch size can the Link Roaster handle?

Link is designed for small-batch sample roasting, with a roasting capacity of 50–100g. This makes it ideal for assessing green coffee samples, testing roast profiles, preparing for cuppings or exploring a coffee’s potential before larger-scale roasting.

When will my Link Roaster be dispatched?

The Nucleus Link Roaster is ordered from the main warehouse after your order is placed. Because this item is ordered specifically for you, dispatch may take longer than our in-stock products. This product is available in Australia only.
