How to get the best tasting cup
NOTE THESE ARE A STARTING POINT AND INDICATE A RANGE TO WORK WITHIN
| Age Best Used | 10-20 days after roast |
| Brew Parameters | Dose 20g in a v60 and add 300g water in 5 pours starting with a 35 second bloom of 50g followed by 70g and then 3 pours of 50g. Start with 89-92 degrees water and aim for the brew to finish between 2:15 and 2:45 |
| Extra Brew Parameters | For best results start with the kettle at a higher temperature (91-92 degrees C) for the first 3 pours then drop temperature of the water to 82-86 degrees done by either using 2 kettles at different temperatures or by adding a cup of cool water to the kettle after the 3rd pour. If using paragon extract chiller run the first 2 pours over the ice rock before removing. |
