In February 2020, we launch a new sustainability initiative aimed at reducing our use and distribution of single-use cups: the #giveupthecup campaign.
In 2019, ONA Coffee distributed more than 2.8 millions single use cups across Australia. This same amount of cups is used in Australia every single day.
This campaign aims to eliminate single use cups from our business, and encourage others to do the same. By introducing reusable cups, swap programs and other initiatives, we aim to do our part to reduce waste and take care of our planet.
The COVID-19 crisis has caused a slight set back to this campaign, but we are still committed to our long-term goal of reducing waste and creating a more sustainable future.
