SINGLE ORIGIN - FILTER

For our Roasters Selection blends this month, we have chosen to create a blend of our favourite washed and natural lots of the 2020 harvest from Guji, in southern Ethiopia. These lots, named ‘White’, ‘Red’ and ‘Purple’ are named for the colours and styles of fruits we see in their respective flavour profiles – the filter Roasted for preparation as a a filter coffee, this expression of our Guji ‘Roasters Selection’ has 80% of the Red and Purple natural lots, and 20% of the washed processed White lot.

This special selection of Ethiopian heirloom lots is characterised by sweet, fruity notes. Flavours of ripe stone fruit and blueberry pair with a grape-like acidity, with a mulled wine quality throughout the brew adding complexity and power. So good, you’ll probably go straight for a second cup.
