Don’t let the name confuse you: this variety doesn’t actually stem from the Typica variety at all: the Típica Mejorada is actually a cross between Bourbon and the Ethiopian Heirloom. This variety has been identified as producing high class coffee, similar to the esteem of Sidra and Geisha.

The floral qualities of this filter coffee are a beautiful expression of refined processing of this new variety. Notes of ripe stone fruits and cane sugar are accompanied by interesting lemon balm qualities in the aroma and finish.
