The name ‘Yirgacheffe’ is renowned in the coffee world as the source of incredible coffees. The coffee from this region is often cited as being one of the first true ‘specialty’ experiences people have, and it’s name has become synonymous with deliciousness. This lot is comprised of peaberries of heirloom varietals, which are coffee seeds that have developed into a small, pea-like shape rather than a more elongated, oval shape. The natural processing highlights the powerful, fruity flavours this region is renowned for.

This natural processed heirloom varietal is sweet and lingering! Think blackcurrant, prune and shortbread with grapefruit on the finish.
