Nicaragua is among the least developed of coffee producing countries in Central America, and producers often receive lower prices for their coffees as a result of this reputation. In recent years, we have found some incredible coffees in the region of Dipilto, like this washed processed Maracaturra. By creating direct trade relationships with producers in the area, we are able to ensure that they are paid fairly for their coffee and can collaborate on improving the coffees even more for future harvests.
This washed processed maracaturra varietal is characterised by tropical sweetness, notes of caramel and the aroma and aftertaste of white florals.
