SINGLE ORIGIN – ESPRESSO

A cross between Timor Hybrid 832/1 and Caturra, the IH90 varietal was developed by the Honduran Institute of Coffee (IHCAFE) as a disease-resistant varietal to combat losses caused by lead rust (la roya) and other infestations. Unfortunately some trees are shown to been susceptible to la roya, prompting more farmers to create measures to prevent contamination from neighbouring farms.

Notes of citrus and delicate florals are accompanied by a peach-like sweetness in this washed IH90 varietal.
