The region of Lempira, Honduras is renowned for its unique microclimates and weather patterns, which can vary from farm to farm depending on altitude and landscape. This washed catuai is grown by Bacilia Garcia at El Roblon, which is located in the San Andres municipality of the Lempira department (state). Aside from growing exceptional coffee, is area is also known for its artisinal opal mining which is undertaken by local miners and gem dealers.

As an espresso, this washed catuai is creamy and chocolatey, with notes of citrus in the aroma and on the finish.
