The team from ONA Coffee is excited to announce the appointment of Tom Beaumont as the new General Manager.
With more than 25 years in the café and coffee industry, Tom Beaumont joins ONA Coffee as an experienced general manager, consultant and business owner. With passion for creative thinking, excellence and business growth, he is a welcome addition to the growing team.

After a start in Melbourne’s then fledgling cafe scene, Tom ran his own small business before taking on training, sales and management roles with premium coffee brands. Amongst business operations and management, he was a national barista competition judge and Q- grader.
Tom was appointed General Manager of La Marzocco Australia in 2013, launching the business in Australia and New Zealand. In his time in this position, he helped to grow Australia to be the equipment manufacturer’s biggest single distributor globally.
Working with over 200 commercial coffee roasters in this role, he gained unique wholesale coffee industry insights into trends and strategies. As well as supporting CafeSmart and FareShare via his previous roles, he is a regular volunteer on FareShare’s Clayton South kitchen garden roster – helping to grow and harvest food to help those in need.
Tom’s appointment to the General Manager position at ONA Coffee comes after several years of expansive growth, both nationally and internationally.
ONA Coffee founder, Sasa Sestic says that the addition of Tom to the team comes at the perfect time.
“We have been steadily growing for several years and our team has expanded greatly,” he said.
“The ONA team are a tight-knit community, like a family. We have needed someone in this role for a while, but we have been waiting for the right person. I believe that Tom will be great in this role and will fit in perfectly.”
Tom begins his new role at ONA Coffee this October.
