ONA Coffee roaster, Danny Wilson creates a custom coffee cocktail to help 'booze up' our Black Betty blend, with a healthy helping of rum.
“I’d recommend trying this drink with a flavourful aged rum, I’m using my favourite HSE Black Sherif Agricole Rhum which has a great fruity and molasses flavour to compliment the coffee. If you choose a spiced rum for yours you can skip the chocolate bitters for a smoother flavour. The combination of rum and orgeat is seem in classic drinks like the mai tai. Not everyone has access to orgeat in their pantry so I’ve included a guide on making a substitute with simple pantry items.” – Danny
