I love the contrast of ingredients in this drink you have the warming flavours of apple, ginger and caramel offset with the refreshing and bright notes of the coffee and fizzy carbonation. The ginger cordial is available from most supermarkets but can be substituted with fresh ginger muddled with a pinch of salt, sugar and the vodka before being strained into the glass. Coffee preparation: Pour-over
Dose 20g ground medium-fine (close to espresso) Pour 50g of 90° water every 40 seconds until you reach your final brew weight of 200g. Let the coffee drain fully then leave in the fridge to cool.
30ml Underground Spirits Caramel Vodka
60ml The Founder chilled pour-over
10ml Ginger cordial
120ml Sparkling Apple juice
This one is simple – combine all ingredients in a tall glass with ice and gently stir to combine.
